Taller de periodismo ambiental
En el marco de su programa Encuentros de Periodismo, la Fundación Nuevo Periodismo Iberoamericano - FNPI, la Corporación Andina de Fomento – CAF y The Nature Conservancy – TNC con el apoyo de Fundación Empresarial para la Acción Social – FNDEMAS Convocan al Taller de cobertura de temas ambientales - Medio ambiente, un vacío en el periodismode investigación (con Arturo Larena)a realizarse en Caracas, Venezuela. Martes 14 a viernes 17 de noviembre de 2006
Periodistas mejor preparados están en condiciones de ofrecer una información completa y contextualizada sobre temas de medio ambiente, que no se queden en la mera denuncia o en la reproducción de versiones oficiales, y que le permita a la ciudadanía avanzar en el conocimiento y compresión de los temas relevantes.
Durante cinco días un grupo de periodistas (editores, jefes de sección y reporteros) de medios impresos, digitales y audiovisuales de iberoamérica se reunirá en la sede de la CAF, en la capital de Venezuela, para reflexionar y debatir, bajo la conducción de, Arturo Larena Larena, en torno al tema de la cobertura de los temas ambientales.
Con este taller se busca mejorar el cubrimiento periodístico de los temas ambientales en la prensa iberoamericana, estimulando la investigación periodística especializada. Al tiempo que esperamos reflexionar sobre la cobertura actual de los temas ambientales, estimular la investigación periodística, estudiar y debatir sobre ejemplos de coberturas periodísticas acertadas y estructurar piezas periodísticas atendiendo a criterios de ética y calidad periodística.
